Week 2: Your Power
What is YOUR power? It is greater, far greater, than you are giving yourself credit for. It is time to see your power clearly, honor it, and forge your path accordingly.
Our Guide: Hekate the goddess of witchcraft and crossroads, often appears as a solitary figure possessing unparalleled wisdom and power. She is unafraid of the dark, of disruption and—above all—her own power, and she will help you remember the same.
Week 3: Money
Richly resourced women and queer folks are powerful and fund the movements that change the world. You, well resourced, benefits the world.
Our Guide: Dolly Parton, our newly minted saint, who showed us just how much good one can do (and how many books one can gift!) with big money.
I had initially named Mary Magdalene as our guide for this week, and for all that I love her deeply I kept saying to myself that there was another guide for week 3, that it wasn’t Mary Magdalene. Then Dolly died, I cried a bucket of tears, and I realized who our proper guide is for our money week.
Week 4: Freedom
Your work is rooted in liberation Honor that seed, water and nourish it, and be fearless in your devotion to freedom—yours and ours.
Our Guide: Harriet Tubman, who is the greatest guide on the topic of freedom, and the faith and fearlessness required to devote yourself to the liberation of yourself and others.
